Your notary in Beaulieu-sur-Mer
A family of notaries since 1908. Advising with independence, safeguarding legal certainty, and supporting families, entrepreneurs and professionals in the decisions that shape their assets and their future.
A family
notarial
tradition
Since 1908, a family notarial tradition has endured across generations who practised as notaries: advising with independence, safeguarding legal certainty and supporting those who commit their assets, their family and their future.
Now established in Beaulieu-sur-Mer, Maître Frédéric Capdevila continues this tradition, convinced that the notarial profession is above all a matter of trust, where the quality of counsel is inseparable from the security of the authentic deed.

Maître Frédéric
Capdevila
Maître Frédéric Capdevila supports his clients through a relationship built on availability, attentiveness, legal rigour and trust.
Individuals, families, entrepreneurs and professionals find in him an attentive counsel, whether for a property purchase on the French Riviera, estate planning, or a wealth transfer strategy.
A family's history is only as meaningful as the trust it continues to inspire. Since 1908, this trust has been built every day, deed after deed.

A lineage
in the service
of trust
This family tradition began with the appointment of Auguste, named notary on 23 January 1908. It continued with André, admitted as notary on 13 March 1946. Over the decades, several family members have practised this profession with the same sense of responsibility, passing on a legacy founded on rigour, discretion, attentiveness and service.
This tradition was also marked by a recognised contribution to notarial legal thought. André took part in founding the CRIDON de Lyon and authored several reference works published by Éditions Litec. President of the 60th Congress of French Notaries in 1962, he summed up the notary's mission in a formula that remains remarkably relevant today.
Maître Frédéric Capdevila's maternal side descends from the Chancel family, established at Cap d'Antibes since the 19th century. His great-grandfather, Gustave Évariste Chancel, a former artillery officer, was mayor of Antibes from 1901 to 1914. In recognition of his service to the town, one of the main boulevards in the centre of Antibes now bears his name.
Family history is a heritage. It is not, however, an end in itself. Each generation bears the responsibility of keeping its inherited values alive and meeting the demands of its own time.
« Social life would be impossible if individuals could not, at any moment, obtain proof of their agreements. »
